Stylish celebrities are always ahead of the rest of us - don’t forget, the top make up artists, clothes and hair designers are all at their beck and call! This is how the celebrities stay fashionably ahead of the game, and entertain the entire nation. So with this in mind, there’s no place better to look than the entertainment industry to find out the latest fashion directions. Here are some current examples from the top actresses and pop chicks with attitude!

Britney Spears
The golden girl of pop, Britney’s hair is typically ‘all American’. Her hair is a vibrant golden blond color, and it flows down all most all the way down to her butt! Britney adds volume to her hair by diffusing the front, back and sides of it. This gives her the lift that she needs to make her vampy image really complete.

Christina Aguilera
After her dramatic short black curly bob, Christina has opted for the long option once more. Christina’s shiny locks are a beautiful white blond color, under-laid with bold black tips. She wears her bangs pinned back off her forehead, making a small rising bump in a seventies style.

Jennifer Lopez

J-Lo’s hair is pinned back from her forehead in the same way as Christina Aguilera. But Ms Lopez is wearing her hair at short shoulder length with 60’s styles curled tendrils. The added textures of the curls in J-Lo’s hair bring out the rainbow of highlights which streak through her honey blond hair.

Drew Barrymore
Drew has dyed her hair a warm glowing auburn color, and her bangs are layered at the front to frame her face. This is a very simple style, and it is also very adaptable. Drew’s hair is at a length whereby she can put it up, or leave it down. It is at the controlled ‘in-betweeny’ stage, and it suits her down to the ground!

These women change their hair as often as you or I would change our beds! Britney, Christina and Drew were all childhood stars, and between them they will probably have tried almost every type of haircut in the world!

Remember, experimenting is cool, but only if you are looking after the condition of your hair as well. If you are going to get a ‘new do’, take a little time to think of how it will suit your face shape and skin tone. Also think about whether it will give your parents a heart attack! Blue and pink dreadlocks may look ultra funky on the T.V., but how often do you see the same style in the supermarket?!
